Chief of Police - Keith Hefner
Keith Hefner has been with the department for over 31 years. Chief Hefner's prior service includes the US Army and two years with the Dyer Police Department. In his off time he enjoys drag racing, photography, and most off all spending time with his two grandchildren. Assistant Chief - Eldon Strong
Eldon Strong has been with the police department for over 32 years. His service while at the PD includes patrol sergeant, detective, special assignment to the Lake County Marine unit, and Operations Commanders. Asst. Chief Strong is a proud USMC Veteran.

Patrol Commander - James Poling
Jim Poling has been with the department for over 15 years. He is currently the coordinator for our department's four time consecutive award winning DWI enforcement program. Operations Commander - Sam Trapane
